HOODS:

All hoods have to have the underside bracing removed where the louvers are to be punched. Bracing can be reinstalled later. All paint, primer, body filler, rust must be removed from top and bottom of hood. Also any sound deadening or undercoating must be removed. PANELS MUST BE BARE METAL! Hoods take at least 6 hours to do, these must be scheduled a few days ahead.

METAL:

We can supply you with the metal. The two choices we have are 20 gauge and 22 gauge. Both are galvanneal (coated with zinc and then annealed-causing the zinc to penetrate the outer surface.) This can be lightly sanded without removing the zinc coating for primer.
